Zane Lowe's New 'Drive' Soundtrack Features CHVRCHES, BANKS, The 1975 & More

BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe has created a new score for Ryan Gosling's 2011 film, Drive. And while the unusual project seems to be without reason, it includes a ton of new music.

The likes of CHVRCHES, BANKS, The 1975, Foals, Bastille, SBTRKT, Laura Mvula, Baauer, The Neighbourhood, Jon Hopkins, Bring Me the Horizon and more all contributed to the soundtrack, titled Radio 1 Rescores: Drive - Curated by Zane Lowe.

Drive will air Oct. 30 on BBC Three, with the option of the film's original soundtrack or the new, Lowe-curated version.

The film's director Nicolas Winding Refn supports the project, of which Lowe says: “Honestly, this is the most exciting thing that this show has ever been involved in. It’s the most ambitious, awesome thing we’ve ever done. We’ve been working on it all year and we’re super-proud of it."
