The Austin, Texas based psychedelic Blues duo Black Pumas (Eric Burton and Adrian Quesada) kicked off the new year on tour celebrating their recently released sophomore studio album, Chronicles of a Diamond. Making a huge splash onto the scene in the summer of 2019 with their self titled debut album. They were then nominated later that year for a Grammy as best new artist. Not allowing the pandemic to affect them the duo haven’t skipped a beat building momentum along the way, garnering awards in 2021 as well as additional Grammy nominations for a live album. They played a sold out three night stand at the Salt Shed in Chicago Burton brought his intensity and performative passion with him as he made leaps and bounds throughout their first night in town and leaving the band’s fans in awe.
