Dermot Kennedy brought his The Weight of the Woods Tour to Milwaukee on Saturday night, taking over Landmark Credit Union Live for a packed night showcasing the Irish singer-songwriter’s increasingly expansive catalog.

The show comes just months after Kennedy released his third album, The Weight of the Woods, back in April, and on the heels of a massive summer which included back-to-back sold-out shows at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, where he became the first Irish solo artist to accomplish the feat.

In Milwaukee, Kennedy balanced the new material with longtime fan favorites, delivering a 20-song set that included “Honest,” “Outnumbered,” “Lost,” “Better Days” and “Power Over Me,” as well as newer tracks “Happiness,” “Endless,” “Blue Eyes” and the album’s title track. He closed the night with “Funeral.”

Hunter Metts joined Kennedy for the Milwaukee stop, opening the night as support as the tour kicked off its North American run this weekend.

The tour continues this week in Indianapolis before heading to Chicago; Toronto; Boston; Washington, D.C.; Charlotte; Tampa; Atlanta; Nashville; Austin; Los Angeles; Phoenix; San Francisco; Seattle; Vancouver and more. Kennedy will then head to Australia and New Zealand in November.
