Tame Impala's Twitter account was apparently hacked Sunday afternoon, with the bandits asking for followers on their personal Twitter accounts before directing a bomb threat at JetBlue Airways.

"Follow @B3_N for a possible shoutout in the next 2mins, GO GO GO," one tweet read, with another warning: "Follow @rexybruh - 200 likes/followers and ill give this account back!!"

Moments later, the hackers declared: "I HAVE 15 C4'S IN MY BAG AND 12 PIPEBOMBS IN MY BAG ALSO IM GOING TO BLOW UP ONE OF YOUR PLANES IN 30 MINTUES.!!!! @JetBlue."

They also tweeted a similar message directed at Malaysian Airlines and Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey.

The strange tweets come after Tenacious D's Twitter account was hacked earlier Sunday morning, with hackers announcing falsely that Jack Black had died.

The tweets have since been deleted. At press time, Tame Impala had not responded to the alleged hacking.

Update (5:33 p.m. EST): Bon Iver's Twitter account appears to have been hacked by the same individuals. They have changed the user name to @ihavelegcancer and tweeted racist insults at Stormzy, among other nonsensical messages.

Keith Richards' Twitter account was also hacked and his team has issued a statement: "Earlier today Keith’s Twitter account was hacked along with other verified accounts. The hateful tweets that were posted have been removed."

In a subsequent response, Bon Iver reacted to the hack: "Very sorry, everyone. We were hacked. Trying to fix the account now. Stand by."

Update (June 6, 11:57 a.m.): Drake's Twitter account appears to have been similarly hacked as of just before noon on Monday, June 6. His account began tweeting messages encouraging fans to follow user @2aiden3.
