Fresh off his big win at Sunday's 60th Grammy Awards, Bruno Mars is hitting the road for a second leg of his North American tour. And he's bringing Cardi B!
"What if I told you I wanna do one more U.S. tour so we could celebrate 24k Magic together one last time," Mars said Thursday on Twitter, teasing Friday's announcement, adding: "Annndddd what if I told u imma bring my lil sis [Cardi B] on tour so we can really turn your city upside down! Make this finale a party!!"
While the dates and venues have not yet been revealed, Mars today revealed the cities: Boston; Brooklyn; Dallas; Denver; Detroit; Los Angeles; Nashville; Newark; Philadelphia; St. Paul; Toronto; and Tulsa.
The tour shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, as a second leg had been expected for some time. And demand likely only increased after he swept the Grammys with six wins, including Song, Record and Album of the Year.
As for the choice of Cardi B to support, that's also a logical decision, considering her own incredible rise and her guest appearance on the huge new version of Mars' song "Finesse," which the two just happened to perform at the Grammys.
Tickets for the new tour go on sale Feb. 16. See the cities below.
