Nov. 18 is going to be a good night for hip-hop, as Chance the Rapper is hosting the Thanksgiving episode of Saturday Night Live, joined by musical guest Eminem.
NBC confirmed the news Monday in addition to revealing actress Tiffany Haddish will host the week prior on Nov. 11, with musical guest Taylor Swift, whose new album Reputation arrives the day before.
The hosting announcements come ahead of this week's new episode on Nov. 4, hosted by none other than Larry David and musical guest Miley Cyrus.
While Chance has previously performed on SNL, this will be his first hosting gig. As for Eminem, this is the latest indication he is about to put out a new record. While he nor his label have confirmed anything, some reports suggest he could drop a new album later this year, perhaps as soon as Nov. 17.
The Chance-Em episode will follow Chance the Rapper's apology earlier this year after featuring parodying record labels such as Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment, which boasts Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and others as part of its roster.
"I made the mistake of including imprints, which ... also singled out artist-owned ventures that have only worked to progress the culture," Chance said at the time. "I want to formally apologize to Dr. Dre and all of Aftermath for publicly disrespecting their hard work and contributions to music."
