Jay-Z has tapped Vic Mensa to open for his upcoming 4:44 fall tour, the two rappers confirmed Wednesday in a press announcement.

The news comes as Mensa has been having a great year, highlighted by the release over the summer of his debut album The Autobiography. He had previously been scheduled to open for Justin Bieber's tour before it was canceled.

Jay's trek kicks off Oct. 27 in Anaheim and runs through Dec. 21, with Mensa set to open for the entire schedule, including stops in Las Vegas, Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and more.

The 4:44 tour is, of course, in support of Jay-Z's recent album of the same name.
