Maths Time Joy, by Lizzie Wood; Rich, by Blythe Thomas

After releasing their song "Change" in April, Maths Time Joy and Rich have shared their latest collaboration, a song called "Hoping You'd Call."

The new track is the latest sneak-peek from a full EP the pair of artists is going to release this fall.

“I wrote this song after going on a few dates with a guy and started getting feelings for him that were unrequited," recalls Rich. "I started doing all the classic things people do when they start falling for someone—telling everybody about him, feeling weightless, and planning out every text obsessively. I was really let down when he said he just wanted to be friends."

As we previously mentioned, Maths Time Joy has been putting out a ton of great music lately. His song "Heavy on My Mind," a collaboration with RITUAL, arrived last month. Other releases include "Two Steps," featuring Kevin Garrett, as well as "Fall Back," which featured Matt Woods, and then jumping on "So High," with rising singer Ross Quinn.

"Sometimes you have to find the point where you connect musically and other times it just instantly makes sense, and it was that way with Rich," Maths Time Joy previously said of the easy connection working with Rich.
