Julian Lamadrid has released a new song called "Red Car."

The delicate new single follows a string of the New York-based artist's recent releases, including "Neon" and "Die Young," which was released a month ago. It's all a preview of the newcomer's upcoming album Mala Noche, which is expected this fall.

"'Red Car' is a return to form, a boy and his guitar singing from the depths of his vulnerability," says Lamadrid of the new song. "It’s a soft meditation on the glorification of beauty; I want to know how it feels to be a beautiful girl these days."

Lamadrid, who considers Elvis Presley, David Bowie and Iggy Pop among his inspirations, was born to Mexican expats in Dubai. When he turned 18, he moved to New York and went to New York University, writing and producing along the way.
