As the world returns to a semblance of normalcy, the timing couldn't be better for Billie Eilish to return to the road, as she did on Thursday night.
The singer kicked off a massive global trek as she started her Happier Than Ever, The World Tour at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The show marked the opening of what will be a busy year for Eilish, who will spend the next couple of months playing across North America before headlining the big return of Coachella, coming off a two-year hiatus. She'll then jet off to the U.K. and Europe as well Australia and New Zealand.
The sold-out New Orleans show saw Eilish returning to the stage in support of new album Happier Than Ever, which has been nominated for Album of the Year at this year's Grammy Awards.
The 90-minute set featured incredible new stage production and of course a flurry of hits, including "bury a friend," "bad guy" and "ocean eyes" as well as newer cuts such as “Therefore I Am ” “Happier Than Ever” and “NDA."
