Just days after dropping his new song "Nice for What," along with a star-studded video, Drake has confirmed his new album, titled Scorpion, is coming in June.
He shared the news Monday afternoon with a pair of Instagram photos. His announcement wasn't a coincidence, as it followed news earlier today that he had replaced himself on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with "Nice" dethroning his previous long-running No. 1 hit "God's Plan."
While not official, it's probably safe to assume both "Nice for What" and "God's Plan" will appear on the forthcoming LP.
As we previously mentioned, Drizzy has been in and out of the studio for much of the past year. He has even been rumored to be recording with Kanye West, who is himself working on a new record.
"I’m always working for you," Drake told a crowd in Australia back in November, assuring them he had been logging hours in the studio. "I’m never sitting around wasting time. I got shit coming for you. Don’t worry."
So now we wait.
