HBO appears to be keeping it in the family with its latest casting.

Mamie Gummer, the daughter of Meryl Streep, has joined the cast of the upcoming third season of True Detective.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported Tuesday the actress will play Lucy Purcell, "a young mother of two at the center of a tragic crime." The news comes just two weeks after Streep was confirmed to be joining HBO's newest hit Big Little Lies. 

The previously announced True Detective cast includes Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali, Carmen Ejogo, Stephen Dorff and Scoot McNairy.

True Detective's third season is expected to arrive sometime in 2019.
