A day after announcing his new album Man of the Woods, Justin Timberlake on Wednesday revealed a number of artists who contributed to the project, including the Neptunes, Chris Stapleton, Alicia Keys and James Fauntleroy.
The news comes ahead of "Filthy," the first single being released this Friday as the first preview of the upcoming record. It was co-written by Timberlake, Timbaland and Danja with additional writing credits from Fauntleroy and Larrance Dopson.
Man of the Woods is described as Timberlake's "most ambitious album to date, both sonically and lyrically." It is heavily influenced by his son Silas and wife Jessica Biel, as well as his journey from Memphis to where he is today.
"Filthy" will be accompanied by a video directed by Mark Romanek. It's the first of four songs being released, with the rest coming weekly starting on Jan. 18., all leading up to the Feb. 2 album arrival, just two days before Timberlake headlines the Super Bowl LII halftime show on Feb. 4.
Preorders for the record begin this Friday with the release of "Filthy."
