Logic's powerful single "1-800-273-8255," featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid, has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

While the RIAA verified the track had reached the benchmark as of Sept. 26, a rep for Def Jam Recordings confirmed the achievement on Monday in an email to Variance, with the accompanying image of Logic and Cara, seen above.

The news comes as the song, which is named for the phone number of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, has climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the U.S. And a Spanish remix, featuring Juanes, was released last week. 

Given the song's success and positive cultural impact amongst a slew of bleak headlines this past year, we anticipate that when the 2018 Grammy nominations are revealed next month, Logic, Alessia Cara and Khalid will rightfully be among them.
