2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees: Pearl Jam, Tupac & More

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Tuesday revealed the shortlist of nominees for its 2017 induction.

Among those included are Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur, Depeche Mode, Electric Light Orchestra, Jane’s Addiction, Journey, and Steppenwolf, all of whom are nominated for the first time.

Also nominated are Chaka Khan, Chic, Janet Jackson, MC5 and The Zombies, among others, with voting beginning today (Oct. 18)

The final five will be revealed in December, followed by the induction ceremony in April at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. As in past years, HBO will again broadcast the show at a later date next spring.
