As they continue their march toward global domination, The Chainsmokers have recently been in the studio with Coldplay's Chris Martin.
The producer duo teased the collaboration with a pair of brief videos on Wednesday. It's unclear if the music is Martin's solo work, as he's previously suggested Coldplay would either be taking a break or ending altogether.
The news comes as The Chainsmokers' recent Halsey collaboration "Closer" has been No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks. Additionally, the duo said in a new interview the likes of Linkin Park, Big Sean and Weezer (who turned them down before) are lined up wanting to work together.
Their single "Don't Let Me Down," featuring Daya, ranked No. 2 behind Sia's "Cheap Thrills" in Variance's annual Song of Summer poll.
