Lauren Graham's adding to her plate. The Parenthood actress, whose book Someday, Someday, Maybe recently became a New York Times Best Seller, has closed a deal with Ellen DeGeneres' A Very Good Production to adapt the book for television.
Someday, Someday, Maybe is set in the mid-'90s and centers on a young woman named Franny Banks who's living in New York City and has six months left in her three-year plan to make it as an actress.
The news, first reported by Deadline, comes a couple of months before Parenthood resumes production for its fifth season. Despite her busy schedule, Graham will executive produce the show and write the script. She has also been approached about writing another book.
