Moby has announced a new single with The Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne.
According to a press release on Thursday, the new cut, titled "The Perfect Life," is described as an "epic electronic soul track," while also an "uplifting and melodic anthem."
A video for the collaboration is set to debut on Sept. 3. It was shot in Los Angeles with Coyne and Moby dressed as Mariachis. It follows a very interesting casting call for the clip, which requested extras dressed as a "S&M gimp rhythmic gymnast," "eight roller-skating ghosts," "12 goth choir members" and "a drunk king: guy with beard age 35-50."
Moby's new album, Innocents, is set to release on Sept. 30.
