Miley Cyrus' 'Bangerz' Debuts at No. 1; Panic! at the Disco, Pusha T in Top 5

Following her No. 1 debut in the U.K., Miley Cyrus has officially claimed the top spot in the United States with Bangerz.

The singer's new set had been expected to top the Billboard charts, but according to Nielsen SoundScan, it surpassed expectations, selling 270,000 in its first week. Not counting her work as her former Disney character Hannah Montana, Cyrus last earned a No. 1 with her debut solo record, 2008's Breakout.

Joining Cyrus in the top 10 is Panic! at the Disco's Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die, which debuts at No. 2 with 84,000 sold. Additionally, Pusha T's My Name is My Name starts at No. 4 with 75,000 copies. Other new entries include the Glee soundtrack to last week's episode honoring the late Cory Monteith (47,000) and The Voice winner Cassadee Pope's new solo effort, Frame by Frame, which sold 43,000 copies at No. 9.
