After taking a bit of downtime (somewhat), Little Dragon appears set to roll out new music soon.
Speaking with Rolling Stone, singer Yukimi Nagano revealed the Swedish outfit is nearly finished with its fourth album, the followup to 2011's wildly popular Ritual Union.
Following an extensive tour in support of their last album, the band returned to their hometown of Gothenburg, Sweden, to work on new material, of which a few mixes are still in the works while the tracklist has yet to be determined.
"I think when we started we had no vision whatsoever," singer Yukimi Nagano said. "I think a lot of visions came through. Our sound is wide – it's not just one particular style – so we dove into different worlds. New worlds, new spaces we haven't been to before. There definitely are elements of sonically romantic tracks. It feels like there are different moods and we're exploring ourselves a bit."
They plan to release the album this coming spring.
