While most weddings are typically memorable events, it'd be hard to top having Stevie Nicks officiate your wedding, something Vanessa Carlton and Deer Tick's John McCauley can now claim.

Carlton and the Deer Tick frontman tied the knot in a private ceremony on Friday, and both the bride and groom subsequently took to social media to share their excitement, including a photo with the one and only Stevie Nicks.

The happy couple met through mutual friend, My Morning Jacket's Patrick Hallahan, who played drums on Carlton's 2011 album, Rabbits on the Run. Carlton also appears with McCauley on "In Our Time," off Deer Tick's latest album, Negativity.
