Ahead of the forthcoming new album, Ghost Stories, Coldplay has announced a handful of intimate shows in six cities around the world.

Among the stops are two U.S. shows, one in New York and another in Los Angeles. Tickets for next week's performance in Cologne go on sale this Saturday at 9 a.m. local time. Information for the other five shows will be emailed to the band's mailing list.

Ghost Stories arrives on May 19 via Parlophone/Atlantic.
