John Stamos Reportedly Leading Effort for 'Full House' Return

Nearly two decades after Full House aired its final episode, there's apparently an effort to revive the series.

TV Guide first reported Tuesday that John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) is leading the discussions, with original executive producer Bob Boyett and creator Jeff Franklin.

The show would potentially consist of some of the original cast, as Candace Cameron-Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) are reportedly in on the discussions. Bob Saget (Danny) and Dave Coulier (Joey) are said to be involved as well.

Variety has since confirmed efforts for a revival are underway, although far from a lock.

TV Guide also pointed out reruns of the Tanner family comedy still pulls in big ratings, especially with the all-important younger demo. And that could be key for a successful comeback.

Given the recent Boy Meets World spinoff, it's not impossible to see some kind of return forFull House, especially since the cast has remained very close since the May 1995 finale.
