U2 will not perform their Tonight Show residency originally scheduled for this Monday through Friday (Nov. 17-21).

The band's the Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen, Jr. revealed Sunday night on its website that Bono has been involved in a cycling accident in Central Park and "requires some surgery to repair" an injury to his arm.

A rep for The Tonight Show tells Variance they are currently in the process of finding replacement musical guests for this week.

Update (11.17.14, 2 p.m. EST): Rep for the show tells us Jimmy Fallon will "pay homage to U2 tonight." Details of musical replacements for the remainder of the week are still forthcoming.
