Death Row Records co-founder Marion "Suge" Knight was reportedly involved in a fatal hit and run in Compton on Thursday.

The incident took place around 3 p.m. on set for a promo for the upcoming Straight Outta Compton film, with the likes of Game, Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. According to TMZ, when a fight allegedly broke out between Knight and members of the crew, he got into his car and reversed onto the victim before leaving immediately.

TMZ reports that at least one victim, Terry Carter, is dead.

Update: An attorney for Knight told the local CBS affiliate he will surrender to authorities.
