Kendrick Lamar has confirmed his new album will be called To Pimp a Butterfly, having revealed the artwork (seen above) late Tuesday night via Instagram.

Per his new Rolling Stone cover story, the record is described as fusing funk with spoken-word poetry and jazz.

The rapper said the album is “honest, fearful and unapologetic," although he offered little explanation for the title, except that it "will be taught in college courses someday."

As we previously reported, the LP is due March 23.
