Mormon-Owned NBC Affiliate in Salt Lake City Will Finally Air 'Saturday Night Live' This Fall
After years of not broadcasting Saturday Night Live, KSL-TV, the NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City owned by the Mormon church, will finally air new episodes of the sketch comedy series, starting with the 39th season premiere on Sept. 28. The station has not aired the show since 1995, when it became an affiliate, instead airing a local sports talk show in its place.
