Swedish singer Erik Hassle will release his new album Innocence Lost on Jan. 27 via Record Company Ten/RCA Records.

While the 28-year-old crooner has previously released three different records, he said Monday in statement this new one "feels like a debut album." He added: “It’s all of these short stories of my first meeting with Los Angeles. Stockholm is pretty small comparatively. Most of the songs were written quickly, because I was just so in the zone. It was therapeutic and emotional.”

The 12-track record is available now for pre-order, with five instant downloads including his standout single ”No Words,” “Pathetic,” Vic Mensa-assisted “Talk About It," “If Your Man Only Knew” and the title track, “Innocence Lost,” featuring Tinashe.

The album was produced by Rihanna collaborator Daniel Ledinsky, with additional production from the likes of SOHN, Gorgon City and Al Shux.

Hassle says the album was inspired by the demise of a relationship and the start of another, explaining that much of the material was written when the feelings were still raw. “I hope people can feel these songs were made in the moment when everything was the most acute and real,” he said.
