Post Malone on Monday delivered a surprise Christmas gift for fans.

He unexpectedly released a new song appropriately titled "Wow." And while he had been teasing new material, he hadn't formally announced the song's release prior to its arrival this morning.

Last month, Malone teased fans by suggesting he intends to release a "new body of work" before the end of December. It wasn't immediately clear if this new track would appear on such a project or if he is still planning to release additional music by the end of 2018, which is in a few days.

Back in April, Post Malone released his album Beerbongs & Bentleys, which spent multiple weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. album charts.
