It's official. Post Malone's newest full-length, Beerbongs & Bentleys, is now the No. 1 album in America.
While the news shouldn't come as a surprise, given the set's massive popularity on streaming platforms, according to Nielsen Music, it moved a whopping 461,000 equivalent album units in its first week, including 153,000 in traditional, non-streaming sales.
The album was released on April 27 via Republic Records, after having been announced just a month ago during a Bud Light Dive Bar Tour show in Nashville.
Beerbongs is the followup to 2016's Stoney. It includes the rapper's previously released singles "Rockstar," featuring 21 Savage, as well as the more recent Ty Dolla $ign-assisted "Psycho."
In addition to the big first week numbers, Post Malone's latest LP had the biggest streaming week ever, with 431.3 million on-demand listens in the U.S., easily surpassing Drake's 2017 record with 384.8 million for More Life.
