The Killers on Friday continued their longtime tradition and released their new Christmas single, a rendition of Bing Crosby's "I'll Be Home for Christmas."
Their take on the song is actually a duet between frontman Brandon Flowers and his fourth grade teacher Ned Humphrey Hanse. Additionally, they have included the track alongside their 10 previous seasonal tracks as part of a holiday compilation album Don’t Waste Your Wishes.
The new recording and the compilation can be heard now exclusively on iTunes, with a physical release set for Dec. 9. As in past years, proceeds from the new single will benefit Bono’s (RED) foundation.
As we previously reported, the band has recently been back in the studio working on their next album.
