It's no secret we're quick to stan the emerging trio Lately., but if you need proof of why, look no further than their latest single "Mess Around."

The Tulsa outfit made up of Sam Westhoff and bandmates Hugh Westhoff and Kristen Westhoff released the fizzy new track on Tuesday, acknowledging it might be one of their most danceable offerings yet. It finds the group leaning in on the high-octane energy of their early singles "Shaky" and "Feels Real Nice," with its driving hook and smoky underpinnings which are deceptively summery, even as the song itself arrives as much of the country is experiencing frosty, winter-like temperatures.

The new single follows the Lately.'s five-song debut EP L.01, which was released in January and included previous standout tracks such as the aforementioned "Shaky," "Feels Real Nice" and "Don't Really Care."

Over the summer, they shared their new jam "Pleasure" followed by their riveting new cut "Perfume." Whatever they're up to next, it's best to stay tuned.
