With his new EP coming later this month, Conor Matthews on Friday shared one more new song called "Hit Me Back," a collaboration with Social House.

The summertime breakup jam is the latest preview of the full project Heartbreak in the Hills, which is out July 24 via Altadena/Warner Records. It comes as he's had a busy year putting out a steady flow of new music.

Earlier this year, Matthews released his incredible Balloons EP. He also teamed up with Tank for an alternate version of the title track. And the good news is, it doesn't seem like he's slowing down anytime soon.

“'Hit Me Back' is about reaching out to an ex and getting radio silence and being like, damn that’s kinda shady," says Matthews. "'I used to be your person, now I’m just some person.' This song is 100% one of my favorites I’ve ever written and I thought it would be fire to bring Social House in on it. Scootie and Mikey crushed it. The collab really took the song to the next level.”
