Following the release earlier this month of her new song "Spirit," from the new Lion King film, Beyoncé has now released a full album inspired by Disney's CGI remake of the classic film.

Titled The Lion King: The Gift, the new record was curated and produced by Bey, who also teamed up with a number of her friends to collaborate, including husband Jay-Z, daughter Blue Ivy Carter, Kendrick Lamar, co-star Childish Gambino, Pharrell Williams, SAINt JHN, Major Lazer, Tierra Whack, 070 Shake and more.

"This is a new experience of storytelling. I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film," said Beyoncé of the new record. "It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound. It is influenced by everything from R&B, pop, hip hop and Afro Beat."

As we previously mentioned, Beyoncé voices Nala in the new film, which is out now and stars Donald Glover, James Earl Jones, Seth Rogen, John Oliver, Billy Eichner and others.
