After returning last month with new music, newly independent singer-songwriter Leon Else is ready to share a second new single titled "Signs."

The brisk, bubbly pop cut is officially out Friday, but it's premiering a day early on Variance. And it's also no coincidence it comes in the heart of Mental Health Awareness Month, as Else continues his candidness about his mental health, which directly inspired the track.

"Just before I wrote 'Signs' with Allie X and my longtime collaborator JT, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder," says Else of the new song. "I was scared, frightened, and worried about what everyone was going to think of me. During that time, I just felt like I needed a sign. Something that would give me the strength to continue on. I want my fans to listen to this song and try to remember that there is always hope."

He adds: "There are signs all around us to carry on, to be strong, to speak up, to stand tall, be proud, and to get help when we need it. It's so important to me to be putting out this song during Mental Health Awareness Month because I want to shine a bigger spotlight on this subject."

As Leon Else continues his journey, it seems he has more music already in the works. For now, the inspiring new track "Signs" can be heard here today and it will be available everywhere on Friday.
