It's been nearly two years (20 months) since John Mayer last performed live publicly, but at a benefit show for firefighters in Montana on Wednesday, the multi-talented musician took the stage and sang for the first time since a very public battle granulomas on his vocal cords and two surgeries. Mayer had to scrap his entire tour last because of surgery, but he announced before performing that he has made significant progress.

Local Natives shared on Friday a very special live session featuring new songs off of their highly anticipated sophomore release, Hummingbird. The performance, which took place on public radio station KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic, has been made available via NPR.
