The new video is also accompanied by behind-the-scenes footage in which directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert discuss the making of the clip and the story behind it. “The idea is this girl is dancing through her relationships," said Kwan. "We’re trying to show how messy, confusing, funny, and sad and weird that is.”
