After sharing their shimmering single "Chasing the Fall" last month, Toronto duo The Darcys have now released a video for the song.

The playful new clip, directed by Emma Higgins, arrived Tuesday. It follows their previous release "Just Here with My Friends," a collaboration with July Talk's Leah Fay which was released back in June.

"It's a glossy joyride that follows a full moon and fate-fueled mission through a tourist town and into the mouth of a natural wonder," says the band's Wes Marskell of the new video. "The song explores ideas of the unexpected and the video does a great job of harnessing that otherworldly energy. I love Niagara Falls because it’s one of those mythic landscapes that people project their fantasies onto. This video doubles down on all of those ideas with a suitcase full of money and a two-time Miss Universe champion in the back of a stretch limo."

Yes, it's pretty wild. And in addition to the video's release, the band has also given a bit of a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the thriller clip, which is said to be hinting at a new album coming next year.
