After dropping his Night Thoughts EP earlier this summer, Aaron Taos has now shared a stunning stripped down video for his standout song "Voodoo," which appears on the 8-track project.

The song, which the emerging New York artist co-wrote with Halsey and Dua Lipa collaborator Larzz Principato, is about the supernatural power of a new lover. As for the new video, it arrived Wednesday, premiering on Variance.

"We kept getting feedback that I should re-record the track in this more organic fashion," says Taos of the inspiration to offer up a live version of the song. "So the boys and I went into a studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn to give it a shot. My friend Chiara Gerek, who is a talented director/DP, had a vision to shoot us recording the process, but also performing the track how we do on stage in the live room of the recording studio. She had the idea to give the song a 70s theme'd tinge with the color and aesthetic of the room which turned out so rad. She's a boss."

Taos, who nods to Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes as his inspiration, has been one of Variance's FutureSounds picks for 2018. And the Night Thoughts EP is out now.
