More than a month after Missy Elliott shared a photo of herself and Pharrell Williams in the studio, the latter has confirmed he is indeed working with the rapper on her long-awaited comeback album.

Williams dropped the news on Wednesday night during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The news comes weeks after Elliott's standout, multi-song performance during Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show in February.

This July will mark 10 years since the release of Elliott's last album, The Cookbook, which also featured songwriting and production from Williams.
