First he hung out with JAY Z and Beyoncé this week, now Ed Sheeran's covered Fetty Wap's recent hit "Trap Queen."

The British singer-songwriter appeared earlier this week on The Tonight Show, but the NBC program on Thursday released a bonus video of Sheeran, joined by The Roots, performing a gentle, acoustic rendition of the rap cut.

While he is best known in the States for his sheepish, folksy material, it shouldn't be much of a surprise to see Sheeran tackling a song like "Trap Queen." But it's still refreshing to see.
