COIN is back with new music, and it's a good one. But isn't it always?

The trio returned Friday with their shiny new single "Cutie," which is accompanied by a video co-directed by the band's ringleader Chase Lawrence alongside Louis Browne, whose work includes recent collaborations with Olivia Rodigo and Billie Eilish.

"Three versions of us exist at all times – the actual, superficial, and digital," says the band. "These identities are always changing, each one informing the other. How can we know which is even ‘real’? How can I expect to limit someone to the context of my own self-awareness? ‘Cutie’ zooms in on control, change, and confusion. On a lighter note, the song is about AI tasting a tangerine for the first time. Throw the ingredients in the musical blender.”

The new music follows COIN's own North American tour last year, with dates at Bonnaroo and Governors Ball festivals scheduled this June, in addition to a big opening slot on 5 Seconds of Summer's U.K. tour.
