After taking some necessary time away, Sydney duo PLGRMS have returned with a new song called "Disappear."

The track perhaps has dual meaning, considering the band's experience as well as the relatable context given many people's current circumstances. For the pair, made up of singer Jacob Pearson and producer Jonathan Bowden, the song is also a triumph, as they had to hit pause shortly after releasing their 2019 standout "Daylight," as Pearson battled chronic pain, which can affect a person's ability to move and carry on about their daily life.

The song comes with an accompanying video directed by Zig Parker and Joe Parma, which gives a visual representation of the track's undertones.

"You want to take the first step, dive towards something new," says the duo. "But it's so easy being resistant to change. Sometimes almost drowning is what it takes for us to learn how to swim."
