Snoop Dogg, by Kris Knesel

It was a night for the classics Friday as some of hip-hop's longest-running emcees took the stage—and the mic—for the Masters of Ceremony at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Among those who performed were Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Fabolous, DMX and T.I., in addition to Das EFX, Junior Reid, M.O.P., Cam’ron and The Lox. And with a massive, five-hour show, fans were treated to a healthy mix of sounds from the past and present.

While the night was mostly all fun and good vibes, with Snoop bringing out Slick Rick for "Children’s Story," he also took a moment during his set to honor Nipsey Hussle, with a moment of silence as images of the late rapper onscreen.

50 Cent closed out the show with a run of hits. And of course, he brought Snoop Dogg back for the remix of "P.I.M.P."
