Pharrell's certainly having a good week. Only hours after sharing his new album, G I R L, for fans to stream one week early, his omnipresent track "Happy" has topped the U.S. charts.

Billboard reported on Wednesday afternoon the song surpassed Katy Perry and Juicy J's "Dark Horse," after having idled for weeks at No. 2.

While Pharrell has topped the Hot 100 before with Snoop Dogg (“Drop It Like It’s Hot”), Ludacris (“Money Maker”), and of course last year's "Blurred Lines" collaboration with Robin Thicke and T.I., this is the first time he's claimed the top spot on his own.

He will perform the newly crowned No. 1 song this Sunday at the Oscars, while G I R L officially releases to retail on Monday (March 3).
