It's going to be a chilly weekend for much of the United States. Fortunately, it's almost summertime in Australia and up-and-coming singer-producer Joshua Rees McVey apparently has plenty of heat to share.

The artist, who goes by the moniker BENTLE, has just released his debut single "100X" and it's a simmering, absolutely hypnotic first offering.

While BENTLE says he originally wrote the song as a "soundtrack" for his own life, he has also said it "explores the image that individuals may portray to the world while potentially having an array of issues/misconceptions/dispositions circling beneath the surface."

With more on the way in 2019, BENTLE already has our attention with this first single.
