Los Angeles-based artist Goldwash has just released his new single "Rhythm Is Frozen," his first release of 2018.

The London-born artist created the woozy new track while escaping the busyness of the world, ditching wi-fi and the addiction of the internet in Ensenada, Mexico, which inspired the lyrics about the opposing desires of connection and isolation.

When he returned to L.A., he linked up with the horn section of J.P. Floyd and Matt Shulman to add some jazzy infusion to the track, which wobbles back and forth between the velvety layers of Goldwash's vocals.

The new song comes as Goldwash is planning to release his debut album early next year.
