Maggie Rogers is here with that Friday goodness.

The singer today released her sparkling new single "Give a Little," which she says is the last song she wrote for her upcoming debut record, suggesting the album is nearing completion.

Calling the new track a "song about empathy," Roger said in a handwritten note accompanying the song was written on the day of the student walkout for gun control in April. "For all the months I've spent feeling helpless and frustrated with the world around me, on that day I was inspired by the change those students were fighting and continue to fight for."

She added: "In the midst of all this fear and hate, what if we got the chance to reintroduce ourselves? What if somebody listened?"

"Give a Little" follows Rogers' previous release "Fallingwater," which arrived back in May.
