Well, here's a good pre-4th of July week treat.

NONONO, the Swedish trio made up of singer-songwriter Stina Wäppling and producers Tobias Jimson and Michel Flygare, has just dropped a fluttering new single called "Ego." The shiny new track arrived Friday and it's perfect for this hot, hot summer heat. And it just happens to be a preview of the group's upcoming album.

"'Ego' is channeling the bittersweet feeling of refusing to grow up and not wanting to let go of your youth/ego," says Wäppling of the new track. "You know you are broken but you don’t want to fix it. The writing process started with Michel putting down a really nice baseline and me writing the lyrics and melody over it when stuck at home on a particularly blue Sunday. Tobias made the track shimmer and shine."

While the band's new album is expected sometime this fall, "Ego" is out now. This week marks four years since the release of their debut album, which included their breakout single "Pumpin Blood."
