Ahead of next week's premiere of his new documentary film Believer, Dan Reynolds has shared a tender new track called "Skipping Stones."

It's a collaboration with Hans Zimmer and it appears on Believer, which premieres Monday (June 25) on HBO. The documentary follows Reynolds' exploration of the Mormon church and its treatment of the LGBTQ community. As a member of the faith, the Imagine Dragons frontman has recently made it his mission to change hearts and minds and promote equality within and beyond the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

"'Skipping Stones' is a song about feeling lost in life and upset with the state of things," says Reynolds of the new track. "I wrote it for the film to convey my feelings about the state of things within my community and a desire for change. Working with Hans Zimmer on the song was truly a dream realized. He is a musical genius and even more importantly a powerful, humble and gentle man."

All royalties from "Skipping Stones" will go to Reynolds' Loveloud Foundation, which aims support LGBTQ youth and inspire conversation about "what it means to unconditionally love."
